Some ways in which we can work together
Charity of the Year
Strategic partnerships
Can your organisation help us create lasting opportunity for young people across the UK?
The Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation works to advance education, improve employability, and drive social justice so that young people can build stronger futures. Through scholarships, mentoring, youth engagement programmes and our national Stephen Lawrence Day campaign, we empower young people to overcome barriers and realise their potential.
We are seeking strategic partners who share our commitment to equity and long-term impact. By investing in our programmes, your organisation can deliver measurable social value, align with ESG priorities, and play a direct role in building fairer futures.
Together, we can ensure every future has a foundation.
Cause related marketing campaigns
We have a strong track record of collaborating with purpose-driven brands on cause-related marketing (CRM) campaigns, where a proportion of each sale, or an agreed contribution per product, supports the work of the Stephen Lawrence Day Foundation.
CRM partnerships are a powerful way to drive commercial performance while demonstrating meaningful social impact. By aligning your product with SLDF, you help advance education, opportunity and social justice for young people across the UK, while strengthening customer engagement and brand trust.
Your customers can purchase with purpose, supporting the next generation while investing in a more equitable future.
Together, we can build stronger foundations for tomorrow.
Sponsorship and event partnership
We deliver a calendar of high-impact, nationally recognised events and campaign moments, including:
- Stephen Lawrence Day (22 April) – our flagship national moment, uniting schools, communities, brands and organisations across the UK around the theme Every Future Needs a Foundation
- The Stephen Lawrence Awards – celebrating architectural innovation and emerging talent
- Scholar & Youth Showcases – spotlighting the achievements, leadership and creativity of young people supported through our programmes
Each event offers a range of tailored sponsorship opportunities designed to align with your organisation’s marketing, CSR and ESG objectives.
By sponsoring an SLDF event or programme, you can:
Increase brand visibility through national media and digital amplification
Demonstrate meaningful commitment to equity, opportunity and social justice
Engage employees and stakeholders in purposeful initiatives
Associate your brand with a respected legacy and forward-looking movement for change
We work collaboratively with partners to ensure sponsorship delivers measurable impact, Both for young people and for your brand.
Together, we can build stronger foundations for the future.
Payroll giving
Employees can choose a manageable monthly donation and help create lasting opportunity for young people across the UK.
Through Payroll Giving, donations are deducted directly from salary before tax — meaning your contribution goes further. For example:
A £10 monthly pledge costs just £8 for a standard-rate taxpayer
The same £10 pledge costs just £6 for a higher-rate taxpayer
It’s a simple, tax-efficient way to support programmes that advance education, improve employability and promote social justice for young people.
By taking part, employees can make a consistent, meaningful contribution to building stronger foundations for the future.
