The Pathways to Professions Programme is a three-year programme that commenced in September 2019. This programme is funded by the Clothworkers foundation and is a programme focused on aiding young people aged 13-15 years old, with skills, opportunities and knowledge to build their career aspirations. The vast majority of students we work with are from BAME, minority or disadvantaged backgrounds and we work with schools in London, Manchester and Birmingham.

Annually we partner with 5 core programme schools to deliver sustained and regular interventions with a group of students. We also work with many other schools each academic year to deliver one-off, short-term and bespoke initiatives and interventions.

Our work with schools in the Pathways to Profession programme is rich and varied, highlights of which include: workshops delivered by aspirational industry professionals, careers talks, trips and visits to professional work spaces, small-group and one-to-one mentoring and careers carousels (i.e. for PHSE drop-down days). In addition, we provide schools with educational resources, toolkits and other support to ensure young people benefit from excellent and aspiration career guidance, aligned with the Gatsby benchmarks.

Coming Soon:

We have developed three specialist toolkits this year with three industry partners. Each Toolkit serves as a comprehensive introduction and overview of the respective industry and will empower young people to be aware of and have the necessary tools to pursue a profession within that industry.

These toolkits provide young people with specialist knowledge, insights and advice which aid their understand of Publishing, Law and Architecture as well as general information about interviews, work experience, career paths and more.
